Here is a little 30x20cm proficiency-drawing to 'test' if I could still work with color pencils. Not entirely satisfied with the eyes, but it'll do. |

Tim, part of the inspiration came from the portrait-type paintings I saw on your site! Well done, my friend. |

Just back from holidays and Ed has made another amazing painting... So my rule of thumb stays the same: Ed's best painting? The next one. |

Another day, another drawing. But artists are always in doubt about their skills (at least I am), so I'll ask if anybody can tell who this is... |

Ed, got the "Footprints" painting today. It is awesome - almost photo realistic. Can not wait to get "The Eagle has Landed" print to go with it. Thanks. |

Yep David, exactly what everybody discovers when they actually see a real "EH" painting! The gold parts on Ed's (rare unmanned subject) Pioneer 10 painting come out in a striking way... Amazing work indeed. |

The direct link was removed because the signing up period had expired. But Jerome has some prints left over, so you can mail him directly. |

I think this print will need a custom frame as 18x12 does not appear to be a normal size. I think the white margin makes this an odd size as 16x12 is an easy frame to find. The print is certainly worth the effort to frame. The owners of these prints are lucky people, the owner of the original is even luckier! |

I received mine today, too. And it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be to find an 18x12 frame for the print. Wonderful print--impressive! |

Here is another first day cover. I have never been good at symbolic artwork, but I thought the subject of the fire called for just that and I was urged to take 'artistic risk.'I put the characteristic Apollo 1 helmet and gloves on the moon, next to a lunar rock. The three stars representing the crew were taken from the mission emblem. It is a real challenge to work on such a small canvas. I use a brush "0" (not "1" but "0"!) and even that is sometimes not small enough for the finer details. |

Well done Ed. I think your image is nicely sensitive to the Apollo 1 crew. |
