I would agree with you if the Jan 1st posting (which I have also given a negative vote, and reported as inappropriate) was a true review of the DVD. It is not. It is, instead, an airing of this person's peculiar views which the documentary-makers were (rightly) never trying to satisfy, and promotion of a moon conspiracy theory book instead (although, fortunately, the "reviewer" can't spell the name of the author he is trying to promote...) |

Does the DVD of this movie only come in a wide screen version or is there also a full screen version as well? |

Note the Blu-ray version of this great film is now only $9.99 at Amazon. I don't know if this is a time limited special, but I'd grab one right now if you were waiting for any reason. |

Just watched the movie "In the Shadow of the Moon" again.Especially after Neil Armstrong's passing away, this movie is an emotional personal reflection of the memories of those who walked on the moon. Keeping in mind the age of the former astronauts, this 2008 Ron Howard movie is really a time piece. |

I watched it again the other night, and then watched the 'bonus' hour of interviews with astronauts, which I had not seen before. It was interesting to hear Mike Collins rail about autograph seekers, words to the effect of: "What do they do with autographs? Probably put them in a drawer somewhere... pull them out a couple of years later and then throw them in the trash." |
