So sad. A wonderful first man who was the most humble of men. I will never forget that night when he and Buzz Aldrin landed on the Moon. Condolences to all his family and friends. R.I.P.

It's very sad to hear that another space legend had passed away. First its was Janice Voss, Alan Pointdexter, Sally Ride — the first American female in space — now Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon. We salute those people who have passed away, they maybe be gone but not forgotten by the people of the whole planet, we will always remember these names forever and RIP Neil Armstrong...

I was very lucky to get to meet Mr. Armstrong through the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. I got to shake his hand at the 40 year Apollo reunions the ASF has been having. I am going to make a donation to the ASF in Mr. Armstrong's memory. Godspeed sir and thank you.

We are so fortunate that it was Neil Armstrong who represented all of mankind during our initial journey to explore the solar system.

Fate was kind to us ensuring Neil Armstrong was entrusted with the role of 'first man on the moon'. We all owe him our gratitude for carrying off this responsibility with extreme dignity. I'm glad I had the chance to meet him.

Godspeed.
