Since the U.K. was such a success maybe Mr. Stafford would like to come to Spacefest? |

Well that makes it unmissable. I'll start the obvious questions with: - What days will Collins be there?
- Is he giving a talk(s)?
- Will he be signing autographs?
- Will he be at the luncheon or banquet?

Can anyone please share a link to where I can see when the astronauts will be signing and what their fees are? Also are the signings the best opportunity for a quick (5-15 seconds) meet and greet with the astronaut including posed photo with my 3 year old son? |

We are still working on their fees (set by the astronauts themselves), however here is the schedule of the event.Unless they're at a talk or panel, they should all be there. McCandless is the only one I know who is one day only so far, we've not established Collins' schedule, but I think he'll be there there the entire time. Most are generally pretty amenable to a quick handshake, during the signing times. Photo ops depend on how busy they are. They'll also be at the banquet, various luncheons and cocktail party too. |

Collins will be signing autographs and be at the various functions. A HUGE shout out to Sally Poor for her efforts in getting Collins to attend — that was ALL her. |

Ditto, Sally, thank you! Can anyone tell me how to print the schedule? I can "screen cap" part of the thing, but that's using a boatload of ink and it strains my old peepers trying to cut and paste in my head. |

Is anyone travelling from Ireland, the UK or Europe and planning on doing a bit of travelling around the southwest states while you're there? If so, drop me an email! |

Pricing has not been announced yet, but will take mail order for anyone who can not make the event. Please see my post on the previous page and email for details. Pricing should be announced in the next 1-2 weeks and I will accept items then. |

When I saw Mike Collins was confirmed I booked my flights from Ireland! Fantastic lineup, I literally can't wait, bouncing from wall to wall here!...I noticed in the Sighting section that Milton Windler will be in San Diego about a week after Spacefest. Any view to having him visit Tucson in June? Also, while the lineup is already stellar, will there be any more astronaut announcements? Cheers! |

I'm planning on attending Friday and Saturday. Anyone ordering from Farthest Reaches and also attending may pick up their items from me at the event and save shipping charges. Nothing too oversized please. When you contact me to order I'll confirm that I can carry to the event. Email off list with questions. Email is steve@farthestreaches.com. Look forward to seeing many of you there! |

Yesterday was the last day to book Marriott Starr Pass hotel rooms at the reduced Spacefest rate. However, the hotel has agreed to handle some new bookings at the reduced rate on a case-by-case basis, but you must contact Sally at Novaspace to make the arrangements to contact the hotel; staff@novaspace.com, 800-727-6682, or 520-888-2424. |

We are still waiting for autograph fees from some of the astronauts. We will try to post them later this week. We know many of you are waiting for the fees, so we'll try to hurry the astronauts along. |

Outstanding Rob. For those on shores afar (and mailing stuff to be signed) time is now limited but I'm quite sure an event on this scale is a massive undertaking and your efforts and those of Kim, Sally and the rest of the gang are very much appreciated. |

Just got done talking with Rusty Schweickart (making arrangements), he told me this is probably his last show, at least for years down the road. Remember, these gents are not getting any younger. If you're on the fence... |

Thanks Al. Here's my question: Should I get Rusty to sign my Apollo 9 flown cue card (signed by McDivitt) even if Dave Scott will not sign it (assuming Rusty will — especially if you put in a good word for me)? |

Mel, in my opinion you should - you'll have the signatures of the first two men who flew in a spacecraft designed to travel only in space. Very nice even if it's not a LM-specific cue card. |

Dave Scott refused to sign an Apollo 15 flown flag for me at Autographica a few years back, despite written and photographic provenance from Walt Cunningham attesting to the fact that Jim Irwin had flown the flag... previously flown on Apollo 7. While disappointed I understand and respect Dave Scott's decision not to sign a flown item unless it originated from him.Since it is unlikely Dave will sign the flown cue card I would not bother asking Rusty to sign it. Two signatures would add little by way of provenance or value in my opinion and from a personal standpoint it would bug me that the piece wasn't complete so to speak. But each to their own: it's whatever floats your boat. This may be the last such show for many at Spacefest next month. I just hope Dave Scott can see his way to making one last signing trip to the UK. |

Mel, I'm happy to help anyway you wish. I'd try Scott first in case he does. His completion would be higher. |

Starr Pass is running out of rooms — both discounted and the $250+ ones. Discount deadline was 5/7. But call us if you have trouble (800-727-NOVA). |

I will say that a couple of years ago an Apollo 9 cue card originally signed by McDivitt was signed by the other two crew members, I believe both at Spacefest. I know this because someone had bought it from me and asked me to try to get it signed by the other two. It took a year or so, but it got done. |

Do the completion fees mean I would have to pay them to every Apollo 9 crew member? Not really sure how that works with all 3 charging extra. |

It depends a little on each astronaut, but as far as we know (aside from Buzz Aldrin), completion fees only apply if that signer is the last one of the crew to be signing the item. So, if one has already signed an Apollo 9 item, then the second one to sign should not be charging a completion fee, but the third one will charge a completion fee, because that third signature completes the crew. Does that help? |

No, unfortunately, it is not a error. Cernan raised his base fee to $500. We apologize for having it wrong when we posted the fees yesterday. |
