I met her at a science teachers' convention (don't ask) about three months after the loss of Columbia, Morgan indeed is a great guest.

Just to be going on with I see that Rusty Schweickart has now been announced as well. Really great looking line up for this show.

This really is going to be one heck of a show.

By the way, does anyone know if you can have two people included on photo-shoot?

I think you can but each person in the photo has to pay for a photoshoot ticket but you should then get two copies of the photo. I think the only exception they make is for what is classed as babes in arms who would but they have to be accompanied by a paying adult.

Just seen that Dave has said on the guest announcement thread on the Showmastters forum that Rusty will be doing a lecture both days on the subject of asteroids.

Perfect timing, after recent events. Having sat beside Rusty at dinner the last time he was a guest, I know how interested he is in the subject of asteroids and the danger they potentially pose to our future existence.

I was at KSC in January and got to meet Jerry Carr. He was amazing. Talk and dinner, then the following day he gave a fascinating lecture on his flight in Skylab. Skylab, the Apollo space station is cool!

I was only 13 at the time unfortunately it did not get much coverage on TV in the UK but have got some DVDs. I wish Skylab astronauts could be at Autographica for the 40th anniversary year.

Since Rusty will be talking about asteroids at Autographica, as well as our usual large pieces of framed, flown space hardware and 200+ signed books, Linda and I'll be bringing along a good selection of meteorites: big and small, of all types (including lunars & martians!)

Wonder if we would ever see the delightful Dee O'Hara take a trip to Autographica. I had a great chat with Dee at the Cape last November, and I for one would love to meet her again... Would anyone second that?

Definitely, I met her at the Cape in November too. She was signing at the table next to Gene Cernan, they were a great comedy double-act.

I had dinner with Gene Cernan last November, and he said "If Dee ever writes her autobiography then we (Apollo guys) would all be in the ****!" ...referring to the "intimate knowledge" she has of them ALL. He was so funny.

Loathe as I am to give the Daily Mail any extra hits on their site, there is an article on there today about Eric 'Winkle' Brown.

I'm adding this here due to his appearances at Autographica in the past.

Can we send in our own photos for autographing? I have a Tracey Rock panorama that I would like to get Cernan's autograph on.

I have read on the Showmasters forum that the event organisers are willing to help anybody's request for an autograph. All you need to do is contact them and ask.

I think the team would be willing to help you with your request.

To add to the theme, Barnes Wallis daughter has also been added to the guest line-up for the show.

This thread is a bit quiet!

Looking forward greatly to my fourth Autographica and to meeting Gene Cernan, Walt Cunningham and Rusty Schweickart for the first time. Barbara Morgan and George Johnson are also interesting guests.

Will be bringing my girlfriend over this time to give her a taste of the 'Autographica' experience.

So who's going? What are you getting signed? Who are you most excited to meet? Do you think there will be anymore Mercury-Gemini-Apollo-Skylab guys announced?

Great lineup so far though, can't wait for it!

I will hopefully be getting the orbital view of Florida in sunshine signed by Walt Cunningham. A photo of Cernan with the flag and the earth signed as well as one of Cernan during LEVA 3. It should be a good show.

The Bad News: Barbara Morgan has had to cancel due to her busy schedule, although Dave is trying to re-schedule her for the March show.

The Good News: Joe Allen (STS-5, STS-51A and Apollo 15 CAPCOM) has been announced as a guest and will be doing one lecture and one photoshoot each day!

Thanks for the info Shane. I was looking forward to meeting her too, never mind.

Still going to have an original WSS photo signed by Rusty and see Gene Cernan's lecture, so plenty to look forward to. Be nice to meet you again too!

Just out of curiosity are you getting your original WSS photos through some source before the show? I too would like to get them for signing somehow.

Finally just bought the tickets for all photoshoots and Gene Cernan's lecture on Saturday. Also purchased Gene's WSS litho ready to be signed.

Question is do I get it signed "Gene Cernan, Apollo 17, Last Man On The Moon" or just "Gene Cernan, Apollo 17". Decisions Decisions.

Really looking forward to the show.

Get whatever makes you happiest because you should get what you want first and foremost.

That being said I've always preferred Last Apollo Astronaut on the Moon as he may be the last American but he won't be the last man forever.

For anyone unable to make the show, or desiring to take advantage of the more reasonable signing fee schedule arranged by Dave and the team, I can offer to obtain a few signatures for a modest fee. Contact me via e-mail.

We will be at Autographica on the 21st and 22nd of September, anyone who has bought Patrick Moore items from Patrick Moore sales will remember us as personal friends of Patrick Moore.

I have closed that site now out of respect and moved his items to my other site.

The ONLY remaining items, photographs, Mars and Moon maps and books signed by Patrick will be at Autographica. We will be in the "Kings Suite."

I am available on skywatcher@tesco.net.

ALL genuine signatures as people know, I am able to take orders before the day, remember when these genuine items are gone, they will never be replaced. PayPal accepted.
