With over 270 different images available to choose from I would most certainly describe our selection as large. Of course, relative to the thousands images taken before, during, and after these missions, I guess you could safely say, we won't meet everyones specific needs. Still, most would consider our selection more than adequate. Beyond that, the quality is excellent with our images being offered at prices that generally run at about 50% of what is charged elsewhere. ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com |

I agree with everything Steve says about his quality and prices but if you have something specific then make sure you bring it. I am bringing some photos of my own but I also plan on purchasing many more from Steve at the show.Mike |

I went to the UACC show in NJ two years ago. The photos were plentiful, awesome quality, and priced accordingly, but in my opinion many weren't the unique kind of shots that I personally collect, which one would expect. So I ended up getting a mix of my own items signed along with some photos sold at the show.Bottom line is to plan ahead and think through what you want to get signed. Mike |

Our discounted room block at the Holiday Inn Resort - Cocoa Beach is about to close. We strongly advise anyone wishing to book a room at this property, to do at this time. While there is a chance the discounted block will be extended, we don't know for sure and as it stands, tomorrow is the last day. Now, there are still two hotels offering discounted rooms for our event. Both are detailed on our webpage at www.autographshows.net. Finally, an additional guest announcement may be made shortly! See you at KSC!! ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com |

Check out the latest update to the KSC show web site -- the show is being dedicated in the memory of Wally Schirra. Also, attendees are encouraged to wear their best Hawaiian shirts to all events -- including the Saturday night banquet! So, then ... what is the dress code (if any) for the banquet? Hawaiian shirt and khakis? Coat and tie with a Hawaiian shirt? Anything goes? This should be a lot of fun, and it is a fitting tribute to a truly outstanding American. ------------------ John Capobianco Camden DE |

John,Close you eyes and think of Wally in his brightest Hawaiian shirt, navy sports coat, white Dockers and, yes, white loafers, and I think you have it. I might opt for all of the above, with the substitution of black loafers, but everything else seems to make sense to me. Like the song says, "Que Schirra, Schirra. Whatever will be, will be." It will be an honor to honor him. Regards, Bruce |

Would ask that you NOT wear shorts. They will be frowned upon. While we are honoring Wally by encouraging Hawaiian print shirts, would expect nice slacks and shoes with socks. While the banquet is not necessarily a formal affair and we want everyone to be comfortable, it's not an occasion for shorts, jeans or similar casual attire. ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com |

For those that are planning on attending the cast and crew screening of "The Wonder of it All" on June 7th, this is an update. The ticket package that comes with an autograph of a moonwalker on the official poster are more than half sold. These are limited to 100 and if you would like one, I would suggest buying one sooner than later as they will sell out. To clear any confusion. Tickets for the event must be purchased as they are not included in any of the ticket packages that are offered through Sims/Hankow. Ticket information can be found at www.thewonderofitallfilm.com and http://www.farthestreaches.com/autographshows.htm Cindy |

I didn't mean to imply that I might show up in shorts and a t-shirt -- just trying to sort out whether I ought to bring along a suit or a business jacket. ------------------ John Capobianco Camden DE |

Steve, Has the special price on this been extended? I saw on your site it's still listed there, but it was last updated on May 9. Tom

Hi Tom, I dont think you are too late to join the fun at KSC in a few weeks. If you phone Steve, think there are still Silver passes to be had? Take a look again at the website.Hubby and myself are really looking forward to meeting up with c-sers from the USA - some of you already know me - as we have been e-mailing one another. please feel free to introduce your goodselves, I have short blond hair and wear glasses. Otherwise you might hear my English accent. Some other people are coming from the UK as well as us. Its really going to me a wonderful time for us all, especially the delication to a favourite Mercury 7 Astro. I have managed to find an Hawiian Shirt etc. best wishes from Brenda and Ted.

Yeah, the site still says there are silver passes which is about my budget. Just wondering about the cheapest place to stay for a few nights now. Also have to check my work schedule for a few days off too. I have a lot of reading to do so I can figure this out! I do have the Hawaiian shirt thing covered though!

I'd suggest calling the hotel directly to check on the special price of the room block. With the shuttle launch scheduled for the Friday night, even the local cheapie hotels may be sold out already. And I'd suggest calling Steve or Nolan directly to see on the availability of what type of passes are left. If you wait for the answer by posting here, you may miss out. My Hawaiian shirts have returned from the dry cleaners and are ready to go.

I called Steve and left a message as well as email, and sent Nolan an email also. I'll call him also soon and leave a message. It seems the motel 6 had room open still, but I need to figure out if I'm going first, then reserve a place.

Hello Everyone,Am super busy tonight working out details and answering phone calls/emails but wanted to respond to your posts with a few comments. 1. Regardless when launch occurs, our banquet and other event activities WILL go on. We're not worried and neither should you be. Logistics may require some flexibility but this will be the event of all events as it's shaping up. 2. All tickets sold through Sims/Hankow will include a launch viewing pass. Our initial mailings didn't come with that pass but passes for everyone will be made available on a will call basis, most likely by picking up at the Holiday Inn. More to follow on that. 3. We are suspending our sale of the basic ticket plan at this time. There is simply no time to process those orders. You may purchase admission to KSC via the usual channels and obtain a ticket to the autograph show itself at the door for $10 per day. 4. Within the next 24 hours I anticipate that tickets to our banquet will be SOLD OUT. This means that anyone interested should contact me at once or it may be too late. It's possible we'll be able to expand our seating but wouldn't necessarily count on that happening, besides which time is simply running out to firm up with KSC Catering. Guess what I'm saying here is that if you snooze, you'll loose. 5. All that being said, there is plenty of room for anyone wishing to join us at our autograph sessions on Friday and Saturday. So, even if you're not with us at the Gala Banquet, come on down and spend a weekend with the greatest assemblage of astronauts and other space celebrities you could ever hope to see at one time, in one place.... ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com

Apologies for the late notice but we only were informed about it today ourselves: today, May 15, is the last day our block of rooms at the Holiday Inn will be held for reservations. Does anyone know how regularly the Cocoa Beach shuttle leaves Miami Airport? How often after 7.30pm? Can you just "turn up" and pay cash? (I'm not keen on the idea of booking in advance only to find that my flight has been delayed).

I think you'd better e-mail or call Cocoa Beach Shuttle rather than ask here, otherwise you risk getting incorrect information. And I hope you meant Orlando International Airport, as I strongly doubt that they run from Miami, which is 200 miles away from Cocoa Beach.

I'll check that out also. If that works, I won't have to rent a car! I'll be staying in the cheap Motel 6 though. Whoo hoo! I'm going to KSC again, I'm very exited and hope that big bird flies on time. Tom Second launch attempt |

We are most pleased to announce that General Tom Stafford will be joining us at our KSC event. Please note that he will NOT be signing autographs but WILL be attending our Gala Banquet on Saturday evening. Gold and Silver tickets are nearly sold out for the banquet though some "Banquet Only" tickets are available at $150 each. Please also note, that we are NO LONGER taking orders for "Basic Plan" tickets. Those interested in this plan may purchase their KSC admission through KSC directly and once inside, may purchase admission to our Autograph Show at the door for an additional $10 per day. We hope to see you there!!! ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com

You've got your ticket?? Do you mean that you've bought a ticket, or that you have actually received a ticket (the actual paperwork)? If so, when? |

Sorry but there are no plans to record the lectures. Al Worden and Sy Liebergot do however have websites containing video segments of them speaking. A small consolation but the best I can offer. ------------------ Steve Hankow http://www.farthestreaches.com |

RE: Cocoa Beach Shuttle Service from Orlando International Airport.A pilot friend of mine has just returned and he used Cocoa Beach Shuttle. I only found this info out late tonight. The bus goes every half hour and usually the driver waits until it has been filled up first, depending on how many people are going to Cocoa Beach from the airport. It runs until the hours of 2:00 am in the morning (late evening and the price rises). Cell phone number: 321-631-4144. Apparently the drivers make a note of any re-booked passengers before taking on any new arrivals. This shuttle service is situated once you are on the ground level 1, where the car hire desks are, outside the doors, make a left turn, you will see a white vehicle with the name on it - Cocoa Beach Area Shuttles. Also the courtesy buses for the out of town car hire also depart from the same area, mainly Hertz and Alamo rental cars. The journey time is 45-50 mins. for the cost per person of $30.00. Hope this helps. from Brenda. P.S. My friend stayed at the Holiday Inn. A quote, "Very nice location, great hotel and pool". These buses stop at most of the hotels on either side of the road.

It would be very wise to make a reservation beforehand; they won't take you if they are completely filled with reservations. If your flight is delayed, just call and tell them and they will get you on the next bus. |

I emailed them and they do stop at the lovely Motel 6 down the street from the fancier places. I'm still not sure what time I'll arrive, since I'll be flying stand-by (cheap ticket privileges from friends in high places with Frontier Airlines). I'm hoping I can just call from Denver when I know what I should arrive?
