Mothers always were VERY SPECIAL snd always will be. Their dedication to their families can never be surpassed.I can fully understand your feelings at this time Having lost my father in 1944 in the Battle for Europe, , I continued to be the subject of her dedication for all those years.

Robert, I've only just spotted this post but still want to offer my deepest condolences on your loss. Our mothers are often our number one fans (mine certainly is) and her pride in your efforts to promote spaceflight was well deserved!

The words don't suffice, but thank you everyone for your words of compassion and support.

As I wrap up my second week back to work, I still am finding it a challenge but the sentiments shared by this community have reminded me why I do what I do, and for whom I do it.

I'm going to close this thread, so as to allow other discussions to rise to the top of this forum, but I am very grateful to this community and will strive to thank you each through the continued growth and expansion of collectSPACE.
