Many of us here would have known nothing of the space program if it were not for our parents who were there to understand and explain it's importance to us. Yours did an exemplary job.. |

Robert,Sorry for your loss - my mum passed away 8 and half years ago and I still miss her. Reading your message I know your mum was very proud of you and while you feel you didn't spend enough time with her (I certainly feel that as well) she had a full life with many experiences you gifted her. Robert I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother to cancer 9 years ago this month and it still hurts everyday. My mother was a huge part of my learning about the space program and took me on my first trip to KSC in the mid 1970's. She always had faith that I would be a part of the program and for a brief moment in time I was. God speed to your mother she will always be there to guide you. |
