Apollo A7 Lunar Boot

0348. Prototype Moon Boot

A left foot boot with labels in the flap. The boot has a gray Chromel-R outside and back around Beta cloth fronts and insides. The strap on the back of the boot is not crossed out and reads: Part No. A7L-106015-01, Sine: OMED, Serial No. 001, Code 74897, ILC Industries, Inc. This boot shows some wear, but not excessively so. It would appear to be a final version prototype that is the next step below the actual issued boots. A similar item (a pair of DVT boots) realized over $7500 in Superior's May 1999 sale.

$5000-7500
