Apollo 9 EVA Guard

0546. EVA Guard

Used during the first EVAs during the Apollo Program. This devise was one of two such units attached to the front of the Command Module's main control panel to protect switch positions while CMP Dave Scott performed a stand-up EVA through "Gumdrops" main hatch. A North American Rockwell artifact tag is included for authentication.
