Apollo 7 Carbon Dioxide Sensor

0463. Flown Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensor

Removed from the spacecraft following flight. This is a critical sensor that was mounted to the inside wall of the spacecraft and measured levels of exhaled CO2 by the crew. There is a Perkins-Elmer ID plate on the side of the unit as well as an attached North American Rockwell artifact tag. A similar unit is what raised the alarms on Apollo 13 which led to an improvised solution.

$350-500
