Did Young ever sign any copies of this book?

I understand John Young has signed copies for friends. Last time Charlie Duke was in Pontefract he told me he had to mail John a copy for signing.

When Charlie came over to Pontefract he took a great deal of interest in looking through my copy of Young's book.

I offered him my copy for the flight home but he told me that Dotty had ordered one for him from Amazon!

I recently finished reading the book finally. I was disappointed and quite annoyed by the technical errors.
  • LM with 5 landing gear?
  • TLI firing after they pulled out the LM?
Most of all, the part where Columbia was at the ISS on STS-107! I nearly threw the book across the room, but being most of the way through it, I just clenched my teeth and finished the book.

I did like the details he went into about the shuttle problems, but the mistakes in the book really frustrated me.

Yeah the errors are awful. Unfortunately the paperback has failed to correct them all. A real shame for such an important book.
