I remain patient, but it would be helpful to have an update on how long our patience must endure.

Has anyone received their blu-ray copy yet? My account at SF still says mine is "holding."

I guess I am just anxious to see this one.

Me too. My order was placed 14th March 2009, that means we are one of the first to be due delivery - soon.

I ordered mine in October 2009. I anticipate an August delivery but you never know...

Now, for the To The Moon set, I ordered that in 2006 so I should be towards the front of the line on that one.

I'm excited to have both coming out. I need a SF fix. Maybe they will arrive at the same time and I will have to agonizingly decide which to watch first!

Has anyone received their copy yet? Supposedly this title has been shipping for weeks... but I haven't heard of one delivery.

A blog post six days ago says he's off to look for final parts to several projects. Maybe that means the Blu rays are finally coming together?

I am almost waiting a year (few weeks) for the Blu-ray, my account still says "holding." While waiting it would be nice to see some first reviews to keep up the spirit. Thanks in advance!

I have not yet received my copy. I ordered it on March 2009. I have sent several inquiries on this and other orders to info@spacecraftfilms.com and have not received ANY replies. I will post here as soon as I receive my copy.

The basic question is - is the LFTM Blu-ray REALLY finished and shipping? After so many weeks after the announcement it started to ship there is no single positive confirmation of delivery, not even in US where the delivery is a matter of days only.

Very strange, and a lot of questions on mind...

The blu-rays are shipping, but as I think I say on the blog update, my order has come in piecemeal, so I am waiting for the next batch to come in.

I don't like anyone being sore at me any more than anyone else, and you WILL get your product, or if you don't wish to wait I'll send you a refund. Dennis, I'll make sure you get taken care of. I WANT you to have your Blu-ray as fast as I can get it to you. We didn't put all that effort into it so you couldn't see it...

We are doing everything we possibly can to get pending products to you as quickly as possible. Beyond the blu-ray a number of items are coming together in their final stages. I thank you for your patience.

The above post was on 2nd August. The SCF blog on 17th August informed us that "all" of the LFTM Blurays would be shipped by the end of August. It is now September. My order for the Bluray (placed on 9th April, 2009) still says "holding."

Since some of the Blurays in this "piecemeal" order were apparently shipped as early as June, it is reasonable to conclude that some orders must have been received. Could someone please confirm receipt of a Bluray and review it? Somebody? Anybody?

Or are we still really, really, REALLY close to the orders being shipped?

According to Mark Gray's blog, if you haven't received your discs by the end up the first week in September, you are supposed to e-mail him.

Hopefully, most people have their discs by now...or else he's going to get a lot of e-mails very soon!

My point is that if "most people" have actually received their Blu-rays by now, there must be someone who can confirm actual receipt and tell us about the content. The problem is that, so far, nobody has actually confirmed receipt of a disc.

Yes, it does seem more than a little odd that nobody here has reported receiving a disc so far... especially if the first batch of discs were claimed to be shipping as long ago as July 3 (according to the blog). The disc is currently listed as being "in stock" on the website.

I gave up months ago trying to get a response to e-mail requests from them.

Yes, the product is great, when you can get it.

But, the key to running a good and successful business is communication. Letting your customers know what is going on. Not some very random postings on sites, with vague info.

We support them with our purchases let us know what is really going on. Don't announce a video unless it really is in the warehouse available for actual shipping. It's like they make an announcement just to see how much interest there is in the title to get an idea how much income is going to be generated to produce the item... I don't know, just way frustrated with the hurry up and wait and wait and wait. Just my opinion. Tired of the extended waiting... waiting... waiting... Do not announce these titles unless they are really available and communicate!

Just be patient guys. I'm sure you can find something to do while you wait (I build wooden ship models while I wait for Mark's DVDs to show up).

Mark's products are fantastic and he has never failed to eventually come out with a promised project. Mark is also a working business owner meaning that he is not laying on the beach while his employees make all of his money for him. He actually goes out and collects info and items for these DVDs and Blu-rays. This is why we get sporadic updates - he's a busy guy. He is also unable to control what the replicators do as far as delivery of product to him. He does not own the printing presses, so to speak, they are outsourced.

Hang in there, you will get your product and I will get mine (I'm waiting too).

Besides, at the end of next week we can all mass e-mail him and inundate his mail-server until it shuts down.

I admire, but do not share, your optimism. Remember that this is not a product we are waiting to buy. This is a product we have ALREADY bought and paid for, in many cases 17-18 months ago. I'm sure there are many of you reading this who are thinking exactly what I am thinking.

I fully agree.

While you all wait for the blu-ray edition, is it confirmed that at least the DVD edition of "Live from the Moon" has been provided?

Yes, that came out before the end of 2009 (if I recall correctly).

I recall that when both formats went on sale, the estimated ship date for both was "no later than July (2009)." Obviously, things have slipped a wee bit.

First time poster on this forum, but I've been around for a long time reading the various discussions.

I too have had a lot of troubles getting any reply from Spacecraft Films but...

I just received an email from Mark concerning my Blu-ray order saying that my order would be sent out by the end of this week. Fingers crossed!

The question remains: what about the FIRST Blu-rays which were allegedly shipped months ago? Is there one single space-enthusiast out there who has actually received one of these Blu-rays from the early batch? Has ANYONE who ordered and paid in March, 2009, received a Blu-ray? Obviously, as one of the Johnny-come-lately stragglers from April, 2009, I must be right at the end of the queue and waiting for one of the "last Blurays."

Well I can tell you I ordered on March 18 2009, so I guess I'm at the front of the queue so to speak and I still haven't received anything.

On the bright side, my order now says 'in progress' but it has said that for about a week now. I remain hopefull...

Well, how about it Robert? Can we get a review of the Blu-ray? Quality, content, bonus materials, overall impression?

I just hope all of the problems with putting out this Blu-ray has not detered Mark from doing more of them. His products are tops and they deserve the extra boost the Blu-ray gives to video quality.

I don't have a Blu-ray copy -- not because I am waiting for one, but because I have not ordered one (I personally have no intentions of owning a Blu-ray player; I much prefer portability over picture-quality).

If others want to write reviews and post them here, they are welcome to do so.

If your card has actually been charged there are legally required steps the seller has to do to remain within the law when a product has been paid for but not delivered. At a minimum you can ask for a refund, call your CC company to receive a refund, BBB, etc.

I have purchased some DVD sets from this company and the quality is great. However, I have since moved to only buying used DVDs as the delivery dependability of the manufacturer seems to be in question pretty regularly.

Looking at my account, there's not happening at all, not processed for shipping. Next week 22 Sept, we can mail again to Spacecraft Films. Still hopeful for a week, hope to see first reviews soon.

Well, my order is still showing as 'in progress' and it has been like that for the past two weeks. In an email from Mark dated September 7th he said it would ship by the end of the week. It obviously didn't so I again send an email with an update request.

I wonder if any of us will ever actually see the Bluray arrive...
