About 18 months ago, a cS member posted about a print called "Thunder over the Patuxent." It was done in 1996, and 1300 copies were signed by Navy test pilots John Glenn, Scott Carpenter, Wally Schirra, and Scott Crossfield, among others.

In that old post, I wrote "I went to college very close to Pax River. I remember seeing copies of that print offered for sale... I thought about buying one, but this was 20 years ago before I got majorly into aviation and space, and didn't follow up. Man, do I wish I had."

Well, new to my space autograph collection after a search of almost 20 years is one of those signed prints. I got it at an auction last month, complete with the original 1996 paperwork.

The latest additions to my space autograph collection are these custom-made cards of James Lovell and Fred Haise. cS user RichieB16 designed the cards based on my original Jack Swigert signed card that was sent out during his campaign for US House in 1982.

I can't thank RichieB16 enough for the help in completing this project. It's something I've thought of doing several times, but he actually took it on and got it done.

I recently got both of them back signed from Mr. Lovell and Mr. Haise. The next plan is to frame them up in some manner, but I need to decide the best way to do that first. For now, I'm just thrilled to have a complete set of the Apollo 13 crew on similar cards.

It's not an astronaut autograph, bit I did just add this Charles Lindbergh signed book to my collection. I had been keeping an eye on it for a while, and when the bookstore had a 20% off sale, I jumped on it.

Received a photo in the mail last week by Nick Hague in his Russian Sokol space suit. The photo was personalized to me, so I am thinking he must of have autographed it before his launch back in March.

I also received a photo in the mail last month from Drew Morgan, personalized to me with a nice inscription on the photo as well.

I received this 12x18 print back from Mike Fossum with this beautiful inscription on it. I love this image!

I got this signed by Thomas Stafford in person from a special print I made. It was at an event in April 2019 at Johnson Space Center.

I recently obtained a signed flown cover for Soyuz T-15. In my mind this is one of the top five flights in the history of the human exploration of space. It is the only flight in the history of space exploration where a spacecraft traveled between two space stations. In the course of its 133 day mission, Soyuz T-15 traveled 2500 km from MIR to Salyut 7 and then back to MIR.

I wasn't really looking for another Buzz Aldrin, but when I saw this early cover with his legal birth name and mission inscription that was in my price range, I just couldn't pass it up.

I am one step closer to getting a signed WSS from all Apollo era astronauts with the addition of a signed Phillip Chapman WSS. Now all I am lacking is a Jim Irwin as the one I have is probably an autopen.

Thanks to the advice of other cS members I picked up this Apollo 15 insurance cover from eBay with a slightly reduced offer. I have been interested in one of these covers for a long time and I am very happy to have finally added one to my collection.
