I agree with both of you guys. I'm just glad that two space travellers were somewhere in the countdown. Other than that, the whole show seemed to be a flop and apparently did not cause much significance. Only 2 million (of the est. 275 million in the US) voted. -Rodrigo |

At least they brought up the point that it was whom was not nominated that was remarkable. Nearly no litarary people nor artists were among the top 100, countless of great Americans amongst them. |

I just have to note that King was NOT NOI. As a matter of fact, the NOI opposed King's March on Washington, Malcolm X called it the "farce on Washington," and the NOI threatened to suspend any members who attended the march for 90 days.King and the NOI were worlds apart, even directly opposed on many issues. |
