Kim, Any word on "More to Come" listed at the bottom of the the Astronaut page? Leaving Monday for Phoenix and want to bring the Right Stuff to be signed. Can you tell us if another early Astronaut is possible? Also, I am sure you have been asked this before but what is High Casual - do we need a Jacket? |

Nope. It's getting a little late to add anyone new. We had someone, but it didn't pan out.High casual is dressy-casual. Bring a jacket if you want, but you might as well bring an umbrella! The astros will probably bring sport coats. Kim

Folks,Quite a number of the astronauts are bringing their wives, some for the first time: Gratia Lousma, Leslie Bean, Suzanne Weitz, Bernice McCandless, Pat Carpenter, Nancy Schweickart, Dot Cunningham, and the new Mrs. Dave Scott. Jan Evans, (Ron's widow) lives in Phoenix, and will be there too. Kim & Sally Poor www.spacefest.info |

It would be nice if you could set them up at the autograph table, some of us would love to get their signatures also. Do you know if Jan Evans will sign at the show?

FYI… Spacefest unofficially started today at about 1300 PDT in Huntington Beach. We had a bunch of the gang over for a BBQ today. We practiced our beer drinking and hamburger eating skills. We talked about space, politics and various other unmentionable topics for about 10 hours. Most of the crew will carry on in Phoenix next weekend. Early results are is that it is a lot of fun, and it will even get better once the test pilots and astronauts show up… Cheers for now….------------------ Kind Regards Douglas Henry Enjoy yourself and have fun.... it is only a hobby! http://home.earthlink.net/~aztecdoug/ |

good thinking, Doug. The last thing that you need during and autograph show is a jammed elbow. Very wise of you to have a practice session before an event. |

Many of the wives will be helping their husbands, of course.I'm sure Jan would be flattered. She'll be hanging around with the McCalls around the art show on Saturday. Look for long-lost Ron Evans garage sale items in Astro-Auction soon. Kim & Sally www.spacefest.info |

If anyone would like a Copy, just ask Me. - Zee www.citizensofplanetearth.com P.S. This is probably going to be One of THE BEST SHOWS EVER ... Comparable to the Burbank Show.
