I went to the Burbank show a few years ago and had a good time. One problem I did notice was at one point I got stuck standing behind a dealer who was having 20 to 30 items signed by one of the astronauts. I only had 2 items to be signed.

I was wondering if any thought has been given to limiting a person to 10 items signed at one time. If they have more than that they need to go get back in line.

Is there any limit? Is it something that may be considered?

Thanks,

Leon

Hi Leon,

Point well taken. We're working on it and at least at some specific tables will hopefully have something in place. Problem is it's hard to monitor, since some of the astronauts manage their own stations and tend to not be interested in policing to numbers of items.

Among others, will most certainly have something specific in place for Gene Kranz in order to keep the lines moving.

Nolan,

Could'nt you just post a "show rule" that states a max of 10 items per each visit in line? I know you couldn't physically be there to enforce it, but if the signers knew it to be a "show rule", then as an honor system thing I'm sure it would be helpful.

I came loaded for bear last year in New Jersey because I could drive to the show and not have to worry about stuff getting lost in luggage were I flying. It really didn't bother me that much to make multiple trips to a table in order to show some respect for the time of my fellow collectors. Unfortunately, it seemed that I was the one getting stuck behind the guy with a million things to be signed, and on a couple of occasions I just dropped out and went to another table and came back later.

If you could give some consideration to this it would be helpful and keep things moving!

Steve,

As mentioned above, we're working on it.
