Well guys I am kind of posting this for my daughter Miranda. We are going to be seated with Buzz for the banquet. People say that Buzz is great with children but Miranda is kind of nervous about it.

What are your experiences with Buzz? If you want to post your thoughts about this then I will have Miranda read them.

Thanks.

I met Buzz once at a free signing in Chicago 2 years ago, and he was indeed great with kids. I just watched him sign for two hours. His face completely lit up whenever children approached the signing table, and he was happy to engage them, and it was clearly genuine. Scouts fared best, but if Miranda's the only child there I wouldn't be surprised if she's the center of his attention.

I went to the NJ show last year with my son. He was 7 at the time and was nervous to meet the astronauts. Buzz was first and really put my son at ease. He was very good, took several pictures with him and answered our questions. He was great! Good luck, bring a camera and have fun!

Thanks to everyone that replied here on this site or sent me a private e-mail. Miranda and I are really looking forward to the San Antonio show.
