The set of 12 SpaceX patches are back on sale as of 18:00pm GMT Wednesday 11th Dec.

The website still shows only 9 patches for $20.00. Shipping to the United Kingdom is $50.53 via Federal Express. (There is no other option.)

Yes, thank you Kevin for the tip. I just bought a set. They charged me $20.00 for the "patch collection" and $8.75 for Ground Shipping and then sales tax. That's still less than $3.00 per patch in lieu of buying them from a known reproduction seller on eBay.

So is it only the 9 patches they show or will they send me more than what is shown? How do you know for sure?

So, there you go! This set appears to include the patch for EVERY mission that has launched thus far. (Which means these include more of the first 9 that were a "limited edition of 200 sets" last year.)

By the way, anybody else receive their sets yet in the US? I ordered mine last week when they were first listed and haven't received anything yet. Then I read news of you guys in the UK getting yours a couple days ago. So I was surprised you guys were getting them faster than here in the US!

We have had to paid $50.53 to get ours via Federal Express, International Mail, were as yours are coming via normal internal USPS mail at $8.75 I would assume?
Though you do have a 2 day option at $25.95, or an overnight option for $55.95.
I personally chose the $8.75 option to a U.S. address, and then to be redirected to me here in the U.K. in January 2014.

Mine are showing they are out for delivery today. I ordered mine within a few hours on the first day they went up on the website. Coming Fedex via USPS for delivery. A little slow but they will come for those who have not received them. For those on the U.S east coast, take into consideration the Midwest, northeast, and eastern U.S. got hit by two major ice and snow storms this past week and weekend causing delays in shipping.

Thanks, guys. I found the tracking info (missed the email when they sent it) and it left LA on Tuesday. Should get it then today/tomorrow. Sorry for the dumb Q...

I ordered a set, even though I sold my other set in July because I needed money then. And I grabbed another hat as my current SpaceX hat is getting worn out.

For what it's worth the patches are once again for sale on the SpaceX website. I just placed an order.

Ordered a set on Thursday. They arrived in Ireland Monday! The $50.53 for shipping at least ensured a speedy delivery.

Great to have the complete set. I wonder will future mission patches become available individually from now on? Here's hoping.

At a 200% markup! You can still get them direct from SpaceX.

Yes, the shipping you guys are paying is worth it. I ordered mine the first day they put them up (December 4th) and they are scheduled to be delivered... today (California to Michigan). So the extra you guys are paying for shipping seems to be guaranteeing a quick delivery.

As far as them putting individual patches on their website, I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. While I think it would be a great idea, they didn't do it last year after the first set went up and only recently, and only for a short time, they had the new patches for this year (3 of them) available individually. Those have since long been removed in favor of the complete set that's now listed.

I guess it's easier to launch a rocket than to modify a web page.

Just ordered my set of 9 from SpaceX. They look like well made patches. Robert, is that 12 from the SpaceX store. So I'll actually get 3 that aren't listed on their page? Great deal!

They are the same as what was produced for the SpaceX team members.

Got my set of 12 yesterday and they indeed are beautiful patches. Took exactly a week from order. Now, going forward if you wanted to add the next patch, how would you get it without buying the collection again? 12 patches for $20 plus $8.75 shipping! Wish NASA had deals like that.

Merry Christmas!

I am assuming the single patches for sale on The Space Store's site are in fact the original SpaceX issues... am I correct?

I have figured out that there are knockoffs on eBay and I have figured out who is selling them... I will stick to the Space Store for these now! (I don't just absolutely HAVE to have the full set; I can get them 1 at a time as one comes along I want.)

Yes they are originals. The Space Store is an official SpaceX vendor. I purchased a couple of individual CRS-1 and 2 patches to put with two older sets I have. I received them yesterday and they are the same patch as the 2012 and 2013 patch collections I have. There is a major difference in the originals and knock off patches you mentioned. You will be safe and pleased with the patches from The Space Store.

As the previous poster noted, The Space Store is an authorized SpaceX vendor and sells only officially licensed merchandise. I just purchased CRS-2, Cassiope, and SES-8 patches from the site... it's not 12 patches for 20 bucks, but then again I don't need a third set of the original nine patches. Hopefully The Space Store will continue to sell them individually.

Just curious, but is The Space Store going to be selling the Thaicom 6 patch along with the other individuals? Thanks!

The Space Store can only sell what SpaceX releases through its own shop, so it depends on if/when SpaceX posts the Thaicom 6 patch for sale.

If past precedent holds true, then the Thaicom 6 patch will be available at the end of this year, with the other 2014 patches.

A Thaicom 6 patch has just been listed on eBay, it is one issued by SpaceX, and came from a 'press pack' available at the launch.

Four more examples have now been listed by another seller. Three with a Buy It Now price of $79.95, the fourth with a start price of $9.95.

I saw them, thanks for the tipper! Could it be that they are listed so quickly is that like the Orbital patches given out at the launch? Both the SpaceX shop and The Space Store don't have it listed as of yet and appears that they won't until the annual set is for sale.

UPDATE: I found out from a friend that SpaceX has been issuing their mission patches along with the press kit at each launch. From my understanding this has just recently started since they would issue decals only.

Members of the press selling patches they receive in the course of their work are risking having their badge pulled for future launches. It's journalistically unethical, and it is a violation of the rules for accreditation.

The Space Store lists 15 sets (2012-13) for sale. Surely they are not breaking up sets from that stock to sell the individual patches?

Hopefully they have additional stock of the single patches to list for sale.

I received a single today from them, the first time I have ever ordered from them... great service and fast shipping! It was an SES-8 and is definitely the genuine article, much better than the knockoffs.

I received my SpaceX patches from The Space Store today, and I thought I'd note here that they're sold out of CRS-2 (I received a PayPal credit).

In a prompt-as-usual response to my email inquiry, Brett at The Space Store said (essentially) that they would try to get more from SpaceX but he couldn't promise anything.

I purchased the 12 patch set from SpaceX a while back and am very pleased with it.

The one missing element, from my point of view, is there is no launch manifest data tied to the respective patches. After coming up dry on my internet search I finally just produced one myself. My manifest lists the SpaceX missions from 2006 thru 2013 along with their patches.

If anyone would like the digital file just email me and I'll shoot it out to you.
