Apogee Books (publisher of the NASA Mission Reports) has begun a new tradition of exclusive collector pins available only to show attendees. There will be a different pin issued at each event Apogee attends.

Meet the first man on Mars: the Planetary Society partnered with Lego and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to fly this little guy (and the CD he "holds") on the 2003 Mars Exploration Rover (MER). This particular disc is the flight back-up.

Talk about your freebies: NASA was distributing full scale Space Shuttle Main Engines to anyone who could carry one home. (Kidding guys, but a very cool exhibit just the same.)
