Has anyone had any experience with Gus Loria signing?

I'd like to add him to my collection of X-31 test pilots. I wrote to ask if it was okay on April 20, with no response.

Never had a reply from Loria, whether during his years with NASA nor in his new jobs.

Al, Gus Loria did briefly sign through the mail right after being selected, but, like many other astronauts, became a career non-signer - possibly after seeing his autographs for sale.

But on the positive side, he did agree to a paid signing back in 2014 and I had him sign a portrait (with "NASA Group 16" added) and a cover. Sorry you missed that opportunity, but since he did sign some material 6 years ago, there is some autograph material of his around and some could be available.

I just checked and it was Bryan McKay who arranged that paid signing and hopefully he might still have something signed by Loria available. Good luck in your Gus pursuit - it's a tough one.

I have a signed picture of Gus Loria. It was not a photo I sended, so it must have been signed on a signing, maybe through Bryan McKay, as I had also other items signed through him.

So I am very happy I have a signed photo.

We have much to be grateful to Bryan and Larry McGlynn with this event a few years ago. I was lucky enough to meet Colonel Loria as a result. Much stuff was signed that day for collectors, and many gaps filled.
