I just sent an item with fee and return postage to Dr. Gibson at the address on the collectSPACE astronaut address list. It was returned from the Post Office saying addressee not there and no forwarding address on file. |

Thanks for the update. To avoid any further returns, Gibson's address has been removed from the list.I'll reach to him and see how, if at all, he wants to be listed. |

Now, I know why I haven't seen my Skylab 4 beta patch since I mailed it back in June. Well, I guess I'm out another item and some money. |

He's great if you can get him in person. At the AAMS last year, I asked him to sign a multi-signed Apollo piece. He said he wanted to sign next to Ed Mitchell, "...because two Eds are better than one!" |

Robert, have you heard back from your inquiry to Dr. Gibson regarding the recent "return to sender" occurrences? |

I've just received an item in the mail from Dr. Gibson. After I received a “return to sender, unknown address” I posted this thread and found others have had returns as well. I did a little web search project and noticed on real estate searches Dr. Gibson's zip is 85266-1345. Apparently it has changed over time. The one posted on the astronaut address list is no longer current. |

This is from his website: If you have questions or would like to talk with Ed, please contact him by phone, fax or email... Since he puts himself out there so readily, it might be best to inquire before sending something in the future. |

Is Ed Gibson's address on the resources page correct? |

The address on the resources is current...at least it was last winter when I was in contact with him. |

I was delighted to return home from work today and find a reply from Ed Gibson. I paid his fee to sign a WSS litho and also his Skylab crew litho which I had previously had signed by Carr and Pogue. Not only that but Ed took the time to reply to a few questions I had regarding his Skylab experiences he and also inclosed a signed photo of his Christmas 1973 EVA as a bonus. A true Gentleman. Thank you Ed! |

I sent out an item through the mail to Ed Gibson using the address listed here. Came back "Undeliverable Address." Anyone know if his address changed, or is he not signing anymore? I even enclosed payment as per his request. Has anyone had any luck with Mr. Gibson? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks! Editor's note: Threads merged. |

Per Ed Gibson this morning, due to abuses, he is no longer signing autographs through the mail. His address has been removed from our guide. Please respect his wishes and do not send further mail. |

That's too bad but certainly understandable. People take advantage and ruin it for the rest. |

I've met Dr. Gibson twice, and he couldn't have been a nicer, more humble guy. I have no respect for those who take advantage of a person's good will. |

Ed Gibson will be at Spacefest IX in Tucson in July. collectSPACE member Steve Gruber from Scottsdale, Arizona has kindly offered once again to have things signed for fellow members (see here for details). Ed's base signing price is $US80. |
