I have a piece Mr. Kranz signed for me not too long before his hiatus with this new signature style but the inscription handwriting seems to match my previous examples. I seem to recall reading on here that he has issues with arthritis?
I would speculate that it is likely not a proxy signer but a deliberate change to be less taxing. Didn't he also have a less chaotic style at one time previously?

I had the same with the Dutch space specialist Chriet Titulaer, you saw his signature changing with his illness.
I have also recent inscription on a photo, I do not think family members are signing for him, he just has not the capability anymore for that swinging signature, so he just is writing his name now.
