The patch on their shoulders is associated with Soyuz 11. There is at least one photo with Patsayev displaying it on his shoulder. Since the swap came very late in the day, they were the Soyuz 11 prime crew when the photo was taken. Congrats on getting it signed by all.There were four more similar photos with this one, plus several others at an airport and in someone's study. I got them all signed a few years back. The pics were first published in Spaceflight vol 42, January 2000. Pyotr Ivanovich is a wonderful man, who I have had the pleasure of meeting on several occasions. I believe at one time he was the Star city long distance running champ. He just turned 88 and is doing great by cosmonaut standards. Not surprised his signature has changed. | |
