Is Armadillo Aerospace still involved, I read that they are basically shut down now.

Armadillo was involved in the initial vehicle, but not in the Bravo testbed that made its first free flight on Tuesday (Dec. 10).

Armadillo's John Carmack confirmed his company was in "hibernation" earlier this year, awaiting further investor interest.
