It is hard to believe it has been 15 years — it feels like it was just yesterday and yet, at the same time, that it has been so much longer.Today's lead article isn't about our anniversary, but another event that took place 30 years before collectSPACE came online. It underscores however, what this site does best: highlighting a space artifact while leading current space event coverage and looking forward at the future of space exploration. I have long said and absolutely believe that the strength of this site, the reason it has lasted 15 years and continues to grow, is you — our community of readers and members. So this is your anniversary, one for which you should be celebrated. Thank you for making the past decade and a half the success it has been. Here's to the next 15 and more! |

Congratulations Robert and collectSPACE.I can remember our first meeting many years ago at the University of Delaware where Alan Bean was speaking. I believe fellow cS'ers Dwayne and Pete were there, too. I so enjoy reading everyone's contributions as cS has become a daily classroom for me. Just yesterday, July 19, fellow cS'er Hart and I made a trip to the Intrepid museum 100% due to a Sighting listed in collectSPACE. We also saw a fellow cS'er whom we had met at the DC Science Expo adding more autographs to his globe. Wishing you many more successful years Robert. |

Congratulations Robert and thank you for the brilliant collectSPACE site you launched fifteen years ago. I am very proud to be a member and enjoy the knowledge shared by so many cS'ers on here, plus the good natured banter.What a great date you selected to start, the most memorable date for all of us who remember the first moon landing so well. Here's to the twentieth anniversary in five years time to match the Apollo 11's fiftieth. |

As well as being a daily treat and a fascinating forum populated by some pretty amazing people, the Outward Odyssey book series is greatly indebted to Robert and collectSPACE as it was the "go to" place when I was seeking out suitable authors. Many congratulations, Robert. May there be many more years of collectSPACE to come. |

I cannot image what it would be like not to have this site and the people on it. The Kollection has grown, knowledge gained and friends met all through cS. It is a wonderful community. |

Over the years I've learned a lot about collecting and spaceflight. I've been able to meet many fellow enthusiasts and astronauts. Without Robert's diligence and the great people here on cS, that would have not been possible. Congratulations to Robert and everyone here on cS on fifteen wonderful trips around the Sun. |
