Congratulations, Robert, on the 15th anniversary of collectSPACE!

This site is a fantastic and unique resource for space related news and history, as well as for highly detailed information about space collecting and artifacts.

I am continually amazed at how you seem to be able to be in so many places at once wherever there is space news happening. Your well-written and thoughtful articles are posted to the web site at an amazing rate. And you do all this while keeping an eagle eye on the dozens of forums covering just about every aspect of interest for the cS community.

The cS community, itself, is a great mix of extremely knowledgeable and passionate people. My engagements with members of the community have been very pleasant, indeed. They really care about authenticity and preservation of the symbols and tangible reminders of humankind’s ventures beyond the Earth’s atmosphere.

collectSPACE serves as a catalyst for keeping us like-minded Space Geeks connected while growing our collective knowledge of the subject of spaceflight. It is in this way that we help ensure the items in our collections will endure as they move down the timeline and into the hands of future collectors and museums. Our collections serve as a distributed archive of space history. We are benefiting future generations by providing educational resources that help to inspire people - young and old, alike - and that help keep interest in space exploration thriving.

As for myself, I feel very proud to have contributed the collectSPACE insignia. I am still overjoyed that you chose to use my design as a key part of the branding for the suite of collectSPACE web sites. I think the patches look great on the Twitter and facebook headers. I look forward to seeing what other collectSPACE insignia emblazoned items you may offer.

So, thank you, Robert, for creating and curating collectSPACE. At T+15, it continues to give us a magnificent ride!

Congratulations and thanks for the site. I've only participated fleetingly for a few years but I've been following it longer than that and it's been a great resource.

I've been a member here now for the past 12 years and I visit here everyday.

I don't post a lot as I am more of a reader and if it wasn't for this site I wouldn't know half as much as I do now about this hobby so I just want to say a massive thank you to Robert for creating such a fantastic website and for giving all us space geeks (yes I am not ashamed to admit it) a place to gather.

Here's hoping for many years to come.

P.S. Robert I am still extremely jealous of your job.

Thank you all, for the very generous words of support.

The best part of creating and growing cS has been getting to meet, know and develop friendships with many of you. You constantly amaze me with your own individual interests, collections and knowledge. It is because of that that I enjoy reading collectSPACE every day just as much as you do.

Thank YOU, Robert. It is not just a great site as such, but more than that, I owe a number of the most memorable moments of my life to the information I found on this site about events, sightings and space places!

Congratulations and I must say, my wallet has gotten thinner because of cS... finding those patches, books and models I never knew I needed! But it has also helped me be a bit more wise when I have started to expand out into things like autographs and flown items. cS is an invaluable resource, not just for collecting, but space news as well!

15 years! Congratulations, Robert. I first heard of this amazing place when reading Hansen's Neil Armstrong biography.

It's been a 'must-visit' place for me ever since. Thanks.

Congrats Robert!

One of my favorite sites that I have been reading for 10 years now. I'll say that I'm furiously jealous that you turned your hobby into a job. I wish I could do such a thing. Good to meet you a few times in person too, Florida and Seattle!

Keep up the great work for another 15+ years, and I'll see you at the SLS launch.

I’m a little late to the party here, but wanted to add my thanks to Robert for all his hard work on this site and in other media venues -- don’t know how you manage to keep all these boards running so smoothly and still cover all of the activities that you do. And you always manage to make my posts look a little better – thanks Robert!
