An opportunity that couldn't be passed up is to let everyone know today is Bob's birthday.I've corresponded with Bob since the early 1970s and had the pleasure to hear his voice on the phone many times. Our visits together on the Florida Space Coast, every few years or so, were mostly when Bob would witness a shuttle launch. For days we would spend hours and hours visiting and talking about our favorite topic; astrophilately and space memorabilia! During many occasions those hours "talking space" would have us way up into the late night hours. Happy Birthday dear friend! |

Happy Birthday Bob! I've had the pleasure of corresponding with Bob for a good number of years now. There's quite a few items in my collection that I'd never have gotten if it hadn't been for your help and generosity... thank you my friend, you're one of the real GENTLEMEN in this hobby!! |
