I just wanted to wish everybody on here a Happy Christmas and a bright new year.Plus earlier this month I spent two wonderful weeks in Florida with my family, of which I spent the first week in Merritt Island and was a constant patron of Shuttles bar and grill, to which I would like to wish everyone there Happy Holidays including Gerry, Cindy, Maria and of course Kim Kelly who was so very warm and friendly to both my family and I. (I can seriously recommend the Atlantis burger). All the best for the future, Alex. |

Thanks to Mark at Spacecraft Films, I can spend the Christmas holiday much as I did when I was 15 years old... following with great interest the mission of Apollo 8. You can bet that Christmas Eve I will be enjoying the crew's "message that we would like to send to you... In the beginning..."It is still to me THE highlight of the Apollo program, if only because it was totally unexpected... which made it even all the more memorable. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you in our extended cSpace family. |

Every New Year means another chance to share the great experiences and amazing knowledge in this space enthusiast community. Thanks to all for keeping the interplanetary spirit strong. We may never leave orbit ourselves, but we can keep the dream alive... and dream a little ourselves. (The sim helped!) |

NORAD, in addition to its traditional tracking of Santa, has teamed with Google Earth to provide continuously updated videos of his trip around the world. He paid a visit to the ISS and swung by Kennedy Space Center. (I just hope that wasn't Atlantis rolling back into the VAB!) Merry Christmas! |

Best wishes to the entire collectSPACE community for a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.In 2008, may the shuttle launches be safe, may you get that auction item you wanted, may your autographs be genuine and not autopens, and may you get a chance to meet that pioneering astronaut you have always wanted to meet.
