I got my flying off to a start last weekend with my first lesson in a Cessna 152 (not unlike the 150 you mentioned.) Absolutely beautiful machine and as my instructor says quite easy to fly too! |

Congrats on starting your flight training. After some time, you'll agree with your instructor that the Cessna is super easy to fly! Not only that, the mighty C-150/152 is a VERY tough little plane. Can take quite a beating. |

Hey, that's fantastic. The 152 is nice snappy little airplane, if a bit cramped. Come on over to my online ground school at www.FAA-Ground-School.com and say hello. |

Thanks guys... yes, a little cramped for sure, especially for an almost 6'3" 17 year old like myself! But my first impressions were excellent and I can't wait until my next lesson in a few weeks - I'll be sure to pay your ground school site a visit Russ by the way. |

I got my Private Pilot License in 2004 and I am flying regularly about 15 to 20 hours a year on Robin DR 400 and Cessna 172 |

Robin DR 400. Is that a light sport? |

I flew in an aviation event this last Sunday where we had the goal of introducing as many woman/girls to aviation as would could. We gave FREE 10 minute (more like 20 after taxiing) plane rides. We flew 171 women and girls in about 6 airplanes, a helicopter and a couple of float planes on the lake. I took up 11 loads for a total of 34 passengers (one had 4 passengers, one was a small 2 year old). The event was a huge success, and a lot of fun. My coworker friends that I gave rides to are still talking about it. I put some information about it on my blog site. |

I have recently joined cS, having been a lurker for quite a while.I am an airline pilot with an ATPL. B777 (current), A319/20/21 and B737 are on my license. I will get around to posting an introduction on the other thread. Great site! Paul Barrier |
