I just relocated to Baton Rouge to manage the Highland Road Observatory. My dream job to be sure. Yesterday, an employee showed me some items she didn't know what they were for. I looked behind a file cabinet and low and behold, flown flags, beta patches and autographs out the wazoo from Skylab and from Dave Scott. Evidently forgoten relics from past presentations. Oh God, keep me on the straight and narrow! Please give me the courage to give them to the Museum and not find their way to my personal collection. I need a drink. Actually, I can't wait to get them to the museum. They are way to cool to keep locked up. Honesty can be a pain sometimes! Trey |

Hang in there, temptation is a stiff challenge to your honesty. But, God will reward you with treasure in heaven. Just think what he has set asside for you.Ed ------------------ "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Psalms 19:1 NIV |

Surely for that big a haul any good museum would pay a "finder's fee"..... |

Equates to the story where a family friend found flown US and Soviet flags from ASTP contained with their plaque in a garbage can. I believe that one or two of the items found deserve to be appropriately framed and placed in the manager's office in order to suitably impress visitors, etc. |

Trey,Maybe you'd better let me hold onto those things for you. Yeah ... probably not. Your post gave me sweaty palms! Best, Bruce |

Those items belong in a museum, to be sure. I'm just glad it wasn't me who had to do it. Good luck! |
