Thanks Robert. That contradicts the earlier posting stating some preliminary discussions had occurred. I wonder if the patch sold by the Infinity Science Center represents the general design the crew could have used. |

I was told that the crew likely to be on 19 had discussed the patch they intended to submit, when the time came, next time he's here I'll ask Mr Fred about it, instead of relying on what I was left by my predecessor. I do work at ISC. |

Seems that the NASA wanted a man with experience on the moon surface, for commander on Apollo 19.So seems that Haise was the only man that virtually could walk twice on the moon (if he had been a more lucky guy). |

Then Haise was moved from Apollo 14 to Apollo 13 because of the Alan Shepard situation. At different times he was lined up for and/or trained for Apollos 11, 13, 14, 16, and 19. He just was not destined to walk on the moon. |
