Thought John Glenn and Wally Schirra were real. Thoughts? Out of frame. Thick poster paper glued on 1/4" foam board. Pinholes in four corners. Odd placement of signatures for a mass produce poster. Note vertical Charles Bassett. Some autopens?

You can see other examples here: Secretarial Signatures, Preprints & Forgeries Gemini II poster signed by 11 astronauts There are versions of this same pre-print with the portraits missing and with different color ink for the signatures.

randyc Member Posts: 940 From: Highlands Ranch, CO USA Registered: May 2003	posted 07-12-2025 08:24 PM It's a bit difficult to see but after rotating the photo to make it easier to read the signature it doesn't look like this is Charlie Bassett's signature. Although it looks like the first name may be Charles the last name doesn't look like Bassett (it looks like it starts with an 'R' and ends with an 's'). And even the signature of Charles doesn't look like other examples of Bassett's signature.
