I have a very large working blueprint dated April of 1961 from Republic Aviation for a reentry vehicle mockup. It came from a storage locker sale in the northeast (around where Republic was based).

It's really large, pushing 7 feet wide.

I was going to use it as man cave decor but whether these warrant conservation or if they are common will determine how much effort I put into it, i.e. welding and fabricating a museum type display or just taping it up. Any advice?

I did a little research, and your blueprint was made for a cool project I knew nothing about ten minutes ago! Republic built a miniature Command Module that was sent up into space, then shot back down to Earth so it re-entered at 37,000 feet per second - close to what a spacecraft returning from the moon would experience.

Here is a video produced by Republic:

If you could find a buyer who can handle such a large item, I would think it's worth at least a few hundred dollars. If you keep it, please don't tape it!
