Looking for advice on the value of a space shuttle Approach and Landing Test (ALT) program flown flag in excellent condition mounted on a presentation certificate - presented to one of the ALT flight controllers.
The crew signatures don't appear to be the usual preprints but if anyone can verify whether any were issued with original signatures (as opposed to autopen) that would be interesting to know.

From the few ALT flown flag displays I have seen most have original signatures of the flight crews. They are nice mementos but I have not seen any that list the flight flown, just that it was flown.
I paid $800 for mine many years ago but from the auctions I have seen these values have gone down over the years. I am still glad I have one.

The prices for flown ALT flags fluctuate like crazy. I've seen some go for $100-200, while others reach a little over a $1000. It all depends on who's ready to buy and when its available.
