Maybe everyone already knows this but I just thought I'd post it anyway...A while back eBay changed the way they manage your saved searches, turning them into 'followed' searches instead. This was no big deal except that the implementation removed the option to give newly saved searches a meaningful name. For anyone trying to manage more than a couple of searches (i.e. most eBay users) this is a total nightmare as the followed search names are meaningless and largely unreadable and it becomes impossible to sort them. Luckily there is an easy workaround which allows you to activate the original "Save this search" functionality (with naming option) rather than the "Follow this search" functionality. Basically you just run your search then add the text "&_jsoff=1" (without the quotes) at the very end of the URL and hit enter to re-run it. You should now be shown the "Save this search" option instead of "Follow this search". Hope this proves helpful to a few people. |

Why not just create bookmarks in your browser for the various searches? That's what I do, and it's weathered most of eBay's changes... |

Anybody else in recent weeks started encountering an inability to have their custom search preferences recognized in the Astronauts and Space Travel category? Specifically no longer able to view 200 listings per page in this category (only allows the default of 48 listings per page view) and the listing dates have disappeared. If so, interested in identified working fixes. |
