I have this beautiful spiral bound publication and photo produced on the USS Yorktown for the Apollo 8 - USS Yorktown recovery. Somewhere I read that there is a Christmas card that exists, does any one have a photo of this Christmas card produced on the USS Yorktown? |

I didn't know such a thing existed, but I too would love to see it if it does exist. About the spiral-bound mini-cruisebook, a pen-pal of mine who was aboard Yorktown during the recovery photocopied his for me more than two decades ago. Even in photocopy form, it's one of my favorite things. |

I found the source of the Christmas card I was wondering about at the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum website. I must have seen this photo, not read about it. I've talked to the curator of collections and she is trying to find the card in their collections and get me a photograph of the front, back and inside of the card. |

Do any cS members know what one of the spiral bound publication produced on the USS Yorktown for the Apollo 8 - USS Yorktown recovery (see photo at beginning of thread) might be worth? I have one I'm thinking of selling and would like at least a ballpark figure. |
