I have three beta cloth patches — the flag, the landing eagle, and the NASA meatball — in a black frame with red trim. I was told they were flown but the certificate of authenticity is missing, so is there a way to find out?

Also they are perfect with no folds, stains, dirt, nothing, sealed in glass.

What kind of price should I expect for this stuff? I want to add a picture but don't know how yet. I can email some to someone if they would like to do it.

I don't believe Apollo 11 flew Beta cloth U.S flags or NASA meatballs as mementos, and the patches that were on the astronauts' spacesuits are still on those suits. So I am guessing, sight unseen, that what you have did not fly.

But if you can share a photo, it may help. Instructions can be found here.

Just want to add that this is sealed very well. I slit open the back to if I could see the back of the cloth but no, it's sandwiched between a layer of glass and a very stout paper backing.

It appears that the board is not acid free and may have discolored the items. If it was my item, I'd tear it open immediately and replace the board with something archival. Perhaps some restoration can be performed on the beta cloth as well if it is indeed discolored... but speak with an expert as I don't know anything about beta cloth.
