I am thinking of saving up some cash and trying to add both Grissom and Chaffee signed portraits to my collection. I know these can be quite rare but how much would I expect to pay for a unpersonalised signed Grissom and Chaffee business suit portrait respectfully? Thanks. |

In my opinion, $1400 to $2000 each depending upon condition. |

Thanks for your reply Rick, I'm actively keeping an eye open for either signed photos. |

Apologies jemmy if my valuation was rather broad; there are many considerations to values in addition to condition. For example, I bought a terrific, black and white business suit, uninscribed Roger Chaffee signed portrait litho from Gerry a year or so back for $1200 from memory. Had the litho been colour, it would have cost somewhere in the region of $1500 and had it been a vintage glossy (which many prefer) I'm guessing $1700 or more. Similarly with Gus. |

I can't thank you enough for your comments Rick, it's great to get a value of a item before I go looking for one. It's also great that this forum gives the opportunity to ask people like yourself for advise. Thanks for the info and also it's great to hear from somebody that has purchased either one of these signed photos. Doesn't matter to me if it's vintage of not, just matters to me that it's unpersonalised, 8x10 and colour. Probably too much to ask but someday one will become available (started saving already and by the price you gave me, it will be one at a time). Thanks again Rick. |

Sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious, but if you want something signed by Gus or Roger, it MUST be a vintage item. |
