Does this Armstrong signature seem right on a 1966 Houston Astros team baseball appearing in a Heritage sports October auction:

I can't say anything about the Armstrong but the 1966 manager of the Astros, Grady Hatton, signed on the "sweet spot" which is traditional for the manager to do.

Also, sometimes a clubhous boy would sign all the players autographs on a baseball.

First, I simply am not a fan of anyone signing a baseball other than a baseball player (in my opinion). Does anyone else think the color of the ink for the "Armstrong" looks different than the others surrounding it (looks greener to me)?

The color is definitely different, and the signature itself looks more like a secretarial than an authentic Armstrong.

Not saying anything necessarily nefarious about it, but I'd NOT be bidding on the ball for the Armstrong signature at all.
