Some years ago, believe it may have been in the late '90s, the state of Texas produced some scratch off lottery tickets which had the image of the Saturn V on display at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Does anyone remember when these came out? Also, any idea what collector value they may have? They are probably obsolete and cannot be redeemed for cash as am pretty sure that their time has expired.

It was the 13th game and was issued in 1994 and expired in 1994!

Thanks generallou. That makes them a bit older than I thought. Time flies...

Other than Florida, which issued some scratchoffs featuring the shuttle orbiter; wonder if other states did anything space-related like this?

Here is the other state lottery ticket which also came out in 1994. Thinking back am convinced that this was not some strange timing coincidence. It was because that year was the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

These were issued in Florida.

All times are CT (US)
