I am looking for a little info on this framed Wernher von Braun display. First off is it a real/fake/autopen autograph and any idea of a value? Thanks for any info!    |

Sadly, the signature appears to match his autopen pattern. |

Yes, this was von Braun's primary autopen pattern throughout his NASA career; both at Marshall and NASA HQS. His long-time personal secretary while WvB was director of MSFC, Bonnie Holmes, did write similar letters to autograph seekers all throughout the 1960-70s. While many did contain genuine autographs of the famed rocket pioneer leader, unfortunately others like this, were indeed autopens. |
