There seems to be many Al Worden autographs on ebay. Are these relatively safe or is he heavily forged?

You are pretty safe with Al Worden. His autograph doesn't fetch very much. If you want to be safe you could always ask for opinions on a specific item on this board. The ones to be careful of are the items that are crew signed, because they are worth much more. In general, an item signed by Worden alone is likely to be good. I don't think there has been any discussions on here about his autograph ever being forged by itself. In recent years he has done some signings, which may be a reason for some of the extra supply.

Also, Farthest Reaches has signed Al Worden up to do custom signings, so you could get something signed straight from the source with impeccable provenance.
And, no ... this is not a paid advertisement.

Al Worden items quite often turn up from dealers in the UK. I think quite a few had multiple items signed when he appeared at a UK autograph fair a couple of years ago. I haven't seen any that were clear fakes.
