I am at my wit's end and hope that some one out there can help. We are looking for a hi-resolution image of Maj. Robert H. Lawrence, Jr., the MOL pilot candidate. There are numerous renditions of his official USAF portrait in both color and black and white, but no one seems to have the original print from which these thumbnails were made. I have exhausted my sources (NARA, NASA, Hill AFB, USAF Museum, etc.) If you can help, please write me directly. ------------------

Cathy is a curator at the National Air and Space Museum. She may only read cS (or her e-mail) at work, so please give her the time to get back to her office. I am sure she will reply. |

I also sent Cathy a scan of a photo of Robert Lawrence and a scan of a postal cover with his signature. |
