I bid and won an eBay auction on one of these tags. The item was paid for and shipped (via USPS) but unfortunately never arrived (I am in Australia). It has been 6 months now, I have contacted the seller and he has no more available. I dearly want one of these, can anyone help me out? |

I am pleased to report the Tag that I bought on eBay back in March finally arrived! It was correctly and clearly addressed to me in Australia but arrived yesterday with "MISSENT TO ARUBA" (look it up) stamped on the package. Only 5 month delay...Needless to say, I won't be using USPS in future... |

Glad you got the tag. It would be a cool thing. As far as USPS goes, they're the same ones that just told me I can't reuse one of their boxes even if re-wrapped in THEIR shipping paper to cover all prior addresses, labels, etc. "If the paper gets torn" was their excuse. Sorry, but they give their handlers absolutely NO value at all. And they wonder why they are going down the tubes... |

"...SENT TO ARUBA"... Wow, your package took a better vacation than I have in years! Glad it finally made it to you. |

Slightly OT, but that's how I send out books. Priority Mail box with postage and addressed to me, covered in wrapping paper addressed to the other person, so all the person has to do is rip off the paper, sign, put the box in the box, seal and drop it off with a clerk or a carrier. Not a reuse of a box (and I wouldn't reuse their Priority Mail boxes anyway because they get beat up after one trip and they're free from the PO), but it's the same difference, and no one from the Post Office has ever questioned me what's underneath the wrapping paper. |

I wonder about those "Missent..." stamps. It obviously happens enough that the PO has to make them! When I lived overseas, I got a lond-delayed letter from my US bank that had "Missent to Jakarta" stamped on the front. I was living in Saudi Arabia at the time. |
