I am excited to announce the appearance of Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison Schmitt at the 2019 Galactic Gathering on Oct. 12, 2019 in Mitchell, Indiana. Dr. Schmitt will share the stage with Hollywood actor Joel Johnstone who portrayed Gus Grissom in the ABC miniseries "Astronaut Wives Club." There will be separate photo opportunities at this event for both individuals. Tickets can be obtained here. Tickets are $30 per person for the speaking engagement and can be purchased in advance. Photos will be purchased the day of the event at the site of the photos. |

I am excited about this opportunity to finally be able to meet Harrison Schmitt and to be able to get a photo with him!! Looking forward to the days events at Grissom Boyhood Home and Museum. Thank you for getting Dr. Schmitt to attend!! |

I met Harrison Schmitt at MIT in the early 2000's. After his dissertation, we talked about flying and my 1946 Globe Swift. He is an ordinary guy. |

Tickets are still selling for the Galactic Gathering. There are packages available. This year it is a bit of Hollywood and a bit of the Moon. Tickets are priced to move. Don't miss out. |

I purchased my Galactic Gathering tickets back in May as soon as I found out that Harrison Schmitt will be attending. Does my regular tickets get me with the photo opportunity with him or do I need to buy different tickets for the photo op? Thank you. |

I'm delighted to be flying over to this event in Mitchell, IN from Ireland (my Dad is coming along too).Jack Schmitt is the only moonwalker still with us that I have yet to meet so I figured I'd make the effort. Looking forward to meeting him, and indeed cannot wait for the tour of Gus Grissom's childhood home. I'm sure I'll see some of you over there! |
