Funnily enough I have some info from those nice people at RTE: The "Face To Face" series of 3 interviews are planned for broadcast over the Christmas period - most likely to be at 9am on Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st December. As Neil Armstrong was the final guest in the series, it is probable that his interview will be broadcast on Wednesday 31st. You should double-check the Christmas RTE Guide in December for a definitive billing, as this schedule may be subject to change. Hope this helps a bit. Do they broadcast over the net? |

Don't know about RTE over the net but some if you have Sky Digital TV some of their radio channels are available via that service. Also RTE main Medium Wave channels can be heard well across most of the UK via 'normal' radio during the day. Also at night but you can get some interference from other stations. |

To all of us who were privileged to be at this event. It was a truly excellent night. I remember when Neil Armstrong came to Tralee in Co. Kerry in Ireland to open a space exhibition in 1997 and he was articulate then as he was at the NCH. I have an audio recording of his speech in Tralee at home somewhere.Did anyone else notice, or was it my imagination, that when the video of him setting foot upon the lunar surface was shown he was slowly speaking the words to himself, i.e his lips were moving. |

I saw the same thing, also during the powered descent to the moon. It must be indelibly printed on his brain by now; I wonder how many times he's watched that footage in total? |

If anyone is interested, CSL's photographer will also supply an electronic copy (or extra hard copy) of you with Neil for £10 (maybe £20).For what it is worth, I scanned my hard copy from the night at 700dpi and then sent it to Jessops for digital printing. Even at 10x8 it came out like a regular photo for <£2. |

Have you got a contact address/number for CSL's photographer to arrange this to be done? |

For those of you who went to Armstrong's lecture in Dublin - I have just received copies of February's "Spaceflight" magazine, published by the British Interplanetary Society, and it has an article I wrote in covering a talk Armstrong gave in California in October. Much of the content of his talk sounds very similar to what you describe of Dublin, so it may be a good read for you. |
