Space Cover 676: American Philatelic Society (APS) covers of Apollo Soyuz Test Project (ASTP)

Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) recovery is pretty well researched but it looks like there is another mystery hopefully solved. I had the cover above for a while, and recently I acquired another piece just with different stamp — it came with a card that the cover has been provided by APS (American Philatelic Society).

I have no idea of how much examples and who was responsible for the project but here it is.
