Space Cover of the Week, Week 299 (January 10, 2015)

Space Cover #299: Soyuz TMA-15M launch to ISS

This week's Space Cover of the Week is of very recent origin. The Soyuz TMA-15M spacecraft was launched to the ISS on November 23, 2014 with the Expedition-42/43 crew of Anton Shkaplerov, Terry Virts and Samantha Cristoforetti ands docked with ISS 5 hours 47 minutes after launch.

Due to the ISS Mission Control Center is in Houston, the Houston post office accepts collectors' covers for cancellations on launch dates of Soyuz and Dragon launches to resupply ISS.

As long as you know the date of the Progress launch, they will cancel the covers on the launch date if requested. The dates are usually released prior to launch.

John, first off, thanks for the post. Nice covers with very nice cancels.

Now a question: The last time I sent covers to Houston for an ISS mission (long story short) nothing ever came of it.

What's the address you're using for cover servicing?
