I have a crew signed Apollo 13 cover which has a rubber stamp on it with the following details "Hog study group - Project Apollo". The stamp also shows the A13 command module and LEM circling the moon for the trip home. Does anybody know what the Hog group was? Thank you for your time. Paul.

In 1952 a Rocket/Technical Society was created, initially known as DAFRA, then as the German Rocket Society (Deutche Raketengesellschaft) or DRG, and finally as the Hermann Oberth Society (Hermann-Oberth-Gesellshaft) or, as referred to henceforth, HOG. --- basic info from Wikipedia

They did a lot of early rocket mail as well.

Paul--How did you obtain this cover and did you check over the autographs before purchasing it?

Ken - I very much respect your huge wealth of knowledge and opinion on this subject.I also trust and respect Kim Poor as well.I have purchased many many items from Kim over the years and I realise that if the signatures are flawed in any way I that it could only be a genuine mistake.
Please would you be kind enough to give me your professional opinion of these signatures. When you look at them up close they flow in a way that you would imaging to be genuine. They certainly do not look like autopens.Would you say that they are early versions of their signatures ? Please dont leave me hanging in mid air wondering whether I have brought an expensive piece of nothing !

Thankyou

Paul
